ZotBins is a smart waste bin system built by the ZerO Waste Anteaters (ZOWA), a group of undergraduate researchers at UC Irvine working on tech-based zero waste solutions.

This page hosts the datasets and models behind our waste recognition work. Our models identify waste items from images and sort them into recycle, landfill, or compost.
